It’s time for the 13th annual Capital Challenge Horse Show, held in Upper Marlboro, MD. As one of the show’s largest corporate sponsors, Ariat International, Inc., a leading manufacturer of equestrian riding boots and apparel, will be sponsoring the American Hunter-Jumper Foundation’s (AHJF) Emergency Relief Fund focused GOT ARIAT! Program during the World Champion Hunter Rider classes.

Established in 1995, the AHJF Emergency Relief Fund was created to provide financial support to the families and individuals affected by accidents from the hunter/jumper sport. Contributions come from the AHJF, private gifts and other donations, including programs such as GOT ARIAT!.

The GOT ARIAT! Program offers the top eight riders participating in the World Champion Hunter Rider Adult Amateur Finals the opportunity to raise money for the AHJF Emergency Relief Fund. If a rider finishes in the top eight in the class wearing an Ariat product, Ariat will donate $50 to the fund.

GOT ARIAT! will also run during the World Champion Hunter Rider Professional Finals, where the top four hunter riders will compete for the championship. Two members of the Ariat Performance Team, John French and Louise Serio, will be competing in this class. Serio also serves as the vice president of the AHJF.

“The AHJF is thrilled to be participating in the GOT ARIAT! Program again this year,” commented Michele Perla, AHJF Executive Director. “It is a visible way to increase public awareness about this very important AHJF program.”

“Ariat is thrilled to partner with the American Hunter Jumper Foundation,” said Ariat International, Inc., Founder and Chief Executive Officer Beth Cross. “They have done a fine job of establishing the AHJF Emergency Relief Fund, and Ariat is honored to help contribute through innovative programs such as GOT ARIAT!.”

In addition to sponsoring the GOT ARIAT! Program during the Capital Challenge, Ariat will be hosting the Ariat National Adult Medal Finals on October 6, and the $50,000 Ariat Congressional Cup Grand Prix on October 7.
