by By Daniel Rieffer | Nov 22, 2006, 9:48 AM

With planning underway for the 2007 American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) Annual Meeting and Youth Conference, the ASHA has expanded the age group for its youth conference. All youth under 21 years of age are eligible to register for the 2007 ASHA Youth Conference, which will be held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting, Thursday through Saturday, February 15-17, at the Embassy Suites in Lexington, KY. The Annual Saddlebred Ball at the Keeneland Entertainment Center on Saturday night at 8 p.m. tops off the weekend.

The under 21 years of age specification is also being adopted by ASHA Junior Judging, Youth Clubs, Saddletime and the Youth Photo Contest.

The age bracket for ASHA Youth Scholarships and the American Saddlebred International Youth Program will remain 21 and under while the ASHA junior membership age requirement will continue at 17 and under.
