Iron Spring Farm’s popular Friesian stallion Teade 392 was recently approved on offspring by the FPS. He was the only American-based stallion approved during the testing held in December. Not only is this a terrific accolade, it is also an assurance of the quality of Teade’s youngsters, who have been winning at shows and receiving top honors at keurings.
“The FPS are very stringent in their assessment of stallions and their offspring, so this is a tremendous honor for Teade,” said Mary Alice Malone, who rode the handsome stallion to a reserve championship at the 2006 GAIG/United States Dressage Federation Region I Championships. “Teade’s a wonderful horse and sire. He reliably passes on his excellent temperament and athletic ability to his youngsters.”
This accomplishment tops off an impressive year for Teade 392. Not only did he receive the reserve championship at the regional show, but he also won numerous classes at dressage shows from Florida to New Jersey. His daughter Tiramisu ISF was the Champion Filly at the FHANA Inspection held at Iron Spring Farm. His son Valdor ISF was the Champion Colt at the same inspection. Daughter Vivian van Teade was named Grand Champion at the FHANA Inspection in Michigan. Teade 392 is by Anton 343 out of Irma van ‘T Zuid S, by Pike.
