Big Weekend Set for Breeders Futurity of West Virginia

The American Saddle Horse Breeders Futurity of West Virginia annual dinner and stallion service auction is scheduled for Saturday, February 10, 2007, at the Charleston House Holiday Inn in Charleston, WV. To date, more than 40 stallion services have been confirmed. Additionally, one frozen breeding dose will be given away in a drawing. The lottery stallion will be WC Harlem Globetrotter, donated by Joan Hamilton of Kalarama Farms.

The weekend begins with a reception at the hotel Friday night, February 9, at 8 p.m. Saturday’s events kick off with the semi-annual membership meeting at 11:00 a.m. followed by an educational meeting at 1 p.m. featuring Dr. B.A. Rucker, DVM, and American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) Executive Secretary and Registrar Alan F. Balch. The social gathering begins at 5:30 p.m., with the dinner and auction set to start at 6 p.m. (all times are Eastern).
