Kentucky Equine Education Project Has New Home

by By Gene Clabes | Feb 1, 2007, 9:36 AM

The Kentucky Equine Education Project (KEEP) has relocated its office and is now part of the United States Pony Club headquarters building. Since its creation in 2004, KEEP had been housed in the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) building at the Kentucky Horse Park. The U.S. Pony Club is next door to the USEF building.

“We’re thrilled to be able to remain at the Kentucky Horse Park and part of the National Horse Center,” said Patrick Neely, KEEP Executive Director. “We interact with so many people in the horse industry, it was important to us to stay at the park.”

The new mailing address is 4037 Iron Works Parkway, Suite 130, Lexington, KY 40511. KEEP’s phone number (859-259-0007) and staff email addresses will remain the same.

KEEP was created in May 2004 to promote and protect Kentucky’s horse industry. The organization was successful during the 2005 legislative session in helping establish a breeder incentive fund. For this effort they were awarded the Public Relations Society of America’s Silver Anvil Award in June 2006.
