(Lexington, KY) – Maureen Pethick has joined the United States Equestrian Federation as Dressage High Performance Coordinator. She will work two days a week from the USEF Gladstone, New Jersey office and will be responsible for processing all High Performance athlete applications for international events; answering athlete/owner questions about those competitions; coordinating travel logistics; competition at an event; and administering USEF athlete grants.
Pethick has extensive experience with the U.S Team’s national and international dressage programs when she was named USET Director of Dressage Activities from 1997 - 2002. Since 2004 she has worked for the USET Foundation and currently acts as their Communications Coordinator, which she will continue to do three days a week.
“We are all thrilled she can accept this position because she comes with years of experience in high performance dressage and is well respected by the entire dressage community,” said Gil Merrick, Managing Director of Dressage for the USEF. “She can hit the ground running and be an immediate asset to the entire Dressage program.”
