IFSHA Holds First USEF-Recognized Grand Nationals

The International Friesian Show Horse Association (IFSHA) holds the first United States Equestrian Federation (USEF)-recognized national championship competition at the Los Angeles, CA, area City of Industry Equestrian Center; showcasing the Friesian Horse and its' derivatives.

On October 22-24, Friesians will compete for national championship titles throughout the weekend in various competitive disciplines. Starting Friday morning with recognized dressage, and continuing with Western pleasure, hunter pleasure, hunter hack, saddleseat, as well as different forms of carriage driving that includes the excitement of Friesian teams racing through timed obstacle courses to be held on Sunday Morning in the Gamblers Choice Classes.

Exhibitions scheduled include Friesians in a Stallion Quadrille; a European tradition of a driven ring spearing competition; the Friesian stallion and his handler from the movie "Bedazzled" and the Olympic Styled Opening Ceremonies scheduled for Saturday.

The public is invited to attend all three days of excitementof the show and the trade fair, which features various equestrian products, Friesian registries, breeders and farms with Friesians for sale, art, jewelry and more. A raffle and silent auction will be held during the event. Admission and parking is free.
