Galway Downs to Host World Cup Series Equestrian Event

The triathletes of the equestrian world return to Galway Downs for the FEI Eventing World Cup on March 30-April 1, 2007.

An international field that will included hundreds of riders from around the world and their very talented horses will compete for points, prestige and prizes at Galway Downs, a world class equestrian facility in Temecula that has hosted the prestigious World Cup Series events for the past four years,

The FEI World Cup Qualifier and CIC** divisions also offer riders the opportunity to earn points towards the USEA Gold Cup Series.

Galway Downs is the site of one of only four World Cup Series events in North America in which riders will be vying for a place in the finals.

The three-day event also will include a trade fair with food, shopping, professional saddle fitters, music and live entertainment.

Hours: Friday March 30 - 9-5; Saturday March 31 9-4; Sunday April 1 - 9-3.

Galway Downs is a 240-acre, world-class equestrian facility less than seven miles east of the Highway 79 South exit off the 15 Freeway in Temecula. It is located in the heart of Valle de los Caballos (Valley of the Horses), which includes about 2,000 acres south of Temecula’s Wine Country.

Directions from Temecula, California: Off of I-15 take Hwy 79 South (Indio
Exit) 6 miles to Los Caballos Road and turn left. Go 1/2 mile to Los Corralitos Road and turn right follow signs into Galway Downs.
