by By Classic Communications | Feb 15, 2007, 10:52 AM

The 2007 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series is officially underway, and it promises to be even bigger and better than ever before. The series will see classes at more than 100 horse shows across the country before culminating in year-end championships at the National Horse Show in Wellington, FL, in December.

The series hosts separate divisions for junior and amateur-owner riders in two Conferences—the East Conference and the West Conference. Series standings are used to help determine junior and amateur-owner entries for the National Horse Show.

The first Show Jumping Hall of Fame Series competitions of the year were held in January at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL. By winning opening classes, Aimee Aron of Keswick, VA, and her mount, Jamaica, whom she co-owns with Kinloch Enterprises, took the initial lead in the junior division in the East Conference, while Katherine Miracle of Stoneville, NC, and Madonna, owned by Overlook Farm, Inc., did so in the amateur-owner division. The first event on the West Conference schedule is at the Oaks Blenheim Spring Classic I in San Juan Capistrano, CA, March 28-April 1.

The 2007 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series is sponsored by the Lake Placid Horse Show Association, Stadium Jumping, Inc., the 2007 Rolex FEI World CupTM Finals in Las Vegas, Practical Horseman, and Langer Equestrian Group, Inc. The Series Leader Board appears online under "Results and Standings" at www.showjumpinghalloffame.net.
