Merial, maker of Zimecterin® Gold (ivermectin/praziquantel), announced Jonah Christensen of Salt Lake City, UT, won the grand prize of the Zimecterin Gold Drive Home the Gold giveaway. Christensen will take home a new 2007 FORD® F-250 truck worth approximately $32,000.

“We’ve always used and trusted Zimecterin brand products to deworm our horses,” Christensen says. “I plan on continuing to use Zimecterin Gold. It’s always been easy to use and has helped keep my horses healthy.”

Christensen uses Zimecterin Gold to drive out tapeworms while showing his double-registered Paint and Quarter horses at shows across the country. He entered for a chance to win the truck in June at the Redbud Spectacular in Oklahoma City. As a senior in high school, Christensen plans to take his truck to the University of Utah in the fall.

Retailers selling Zimecterin Gold were also eligible for prizes. Del’s Farm Supply in Lakewood, WA, was selected to receive a $500 Drive Home the Gold retailer gift after being nominated by one of its customers.
