The United States Equestrian Federation, Inc.®, would like to invite dressage competitions to apply to become an official USEF “qualifying competition” for the 2008 USEF High-Performance and/or Dressage Developing Programs.
USEF High Performance Programs include qualification for the following:
2008 USEF National Intermediaire I Dressage Championship;
2008 USEF National Grand Prix Dressage Championship (including 2008 Olympic Selection Trials).
The USEF Dressage Developing Programs are a new initiative to recognize and reward up-and-coming talent in our sport, and include qualification for the following:
2008 USEF National Junior Dressage Championship (riders 14 – 18);
2008 USEF National Young Rider Dressage Championship (riders 16 – 21);
2008 USEF National Young Adult “Brentina Cup” Dressage Championship (riders 18 – 26 at the FEI Intermediaire II level);
2007/2008 USEF National Developing Horse Dressage Championship
(seven- to nine-year-old horses at the FEI Prix St. Georges level).
Competitions licensed for dates from June 4, 2007, to June 8, 2008, will be considered at this time. A completed application for each licensed competition must be submitted to the USEF office and received by April 16, 2007. Applications received after this deadline will NOT be considered. An application is attached to this message for your convenience.
