USET Foundation Offers Athlete Portrait Campaign Posters for Sale at www.uset.org to Benefit High Performance Programs

The extraordinary Athlete Portrait Campaign posters created by Elma Garcia that were on display and for sale at the 2007 Rolex FEI World Cup™ Finals in Las Vega, Nevada (April 18-22) can now be purchased via the United States Equestrian Team (USET) Foundation website at www.uset.org. There are five different posters available for a donation to the Foundation of $35 each. All proceeds from the sales of the posters benefit the U.S. equestrian team athletes and their high-performance programs.

The USET Foundation is offering two single portraits and three composite posters of the Olympic disciplines featuring unique portraits of the athletes with their horses. On the back of each poster is a short biography of each athlete pictured.

These collector’s item posters are a limited edition that will not be reprinted and are available only while supplies last. The posters can be purchased exclusively through the USET Foundation website at www.uset.org. A special link on the website’s front page connects to the order form and shows each of the posters available for purchase.

The two single portrait posters available are:

—Show Jumper Beezie Madden with Authentic (24” x 36”)
—Dressage Rider Debbie McDonald with Brentina (24” x 36”)

The three composite posters available are:

—Show Jumping with portraits of Lauren Hough and Casadora, Todd Minikus and Olinda, Molly Ashe-Cawley and Kroon Gravin, Candice King and Coco Cabana, Beezie Madden and Authentic, Laura Kraut and Miss Independent, Margie Engle and Hidden Creek’s Quervo Gold, Schuyler Riley and Ilian, and McLain Ward and Larioso (27” x 40”)

—Dressage with portraits of Steffen Peters and Floriano, Courtney King and Idocus, Guenter Seidel and Aragon, Debbie McDonald and Brentina, Arlene ‘Tuny’ Page and Wild One, and Kristina Harrison-Naness and Rociero XV (18” x 40”)

—Olympic Disciplines featuring portraits of three-day eventers Kim Severson with Winsome Adante, and Will Faudree with Antigua; Dressage Riders Debbie McDonald with Brentina, Steffen Peters with Ravel, and Guenter Seidel with Aragon; and Show Jumper Beezie Madden with Authentic (17” x 38”)

Shipping and handling in the continental U.S. for the first poster ordered is $7.50, plus $1.00 for each additional poster.

Elma Garcia, a professional director/cinematographer of television commercials and an amateur dressage rider, created the Athlete Portrait Campaign to serve a dual purpose of public relations and fundraising to benefit the USET Foundation.
