If you are interested in becoming a Friesian judge, now is the time! The United States Equestrian Federation will conduct a Friesian Judges’ Clinic, October 5-6, 2007, in Lake St. Louis, MO. The clinic is open to all Friesian judges, as well as any applicants or potential applicants for the license.

Please note that effective December 1, 2007, all ‘A’- and ‘B’-rated Friesian classes must be officiated by a licensed Friesian judge. Guest judge cards will no longer be allowed.

To become a Friesian judge, you must be a Senior Active member of USEF, 21 years of age or older. You must have attended a USEF Friesian Judges’ clinic within three years preceding your application for your license. You must also have served as a Learner Judge at a minimum of three USEF licensed competitions under a minimum of three different USEF Friesian judges within three years preceding your application. Licensed Andalusian, Arabian, Hackney, Morgan, National Show Horse, Saddlebred, or Welsh judges are not required to complete the learner judging, but must attend the Friesian Judges’ Clinic.
