by By Stacey Meier | Sep 27, 2007, 11:41 AM

The USEF is pleased to announce the 2007 Connemara and Welsh Judges’ Clinic to be held Saturday, October 20, 2007 in Rancho Cordova, California and Starr Vaughn Equestrian in Elk Grove, California. This clinic is being offered to all Federation licensed Connemara and Welsh judges and any applicants or potential applicants for these licenses. Attendance at the clinic fulfills the Federation’s clinic requirements as outlined in GR1040 of the current Federation rule book.

To provide attendees with the best possible educational experience, the USEF has established an attendance limit for this clinic. If you are an official who must attend a clinic in 2007 to maintain your license, your application will be given first consideration providing the application with fees are received prior to the closing date for the clinic. The remaining attendance applications will be considered for existing positions on a first-come, first-served basis after the closing date. A completed application form must be mailed well in advance of the September 28, 2007 closing date in order to guarantee a place at the clinic.

The following is the tentative schedule:

8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Registration at Marriott Sacramento-Rancho Cordova

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Class room Instruction/Discussion

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Lunch – Travel to Inspection Site

1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Panelists will be Catherine Mack of The Plains, Virginia and Eric Caleca of Andover, New Jersey.

Cost for the clinic is $100 if received in the USEF office on or before September 28, 2007; after September 28 the cost is increased to $125. To listen only to the clinic with non-participation in forum and limited hand out material as a silent auditor, the cost is $50.

Anyone attending the clinic will need to bring a current USEF Rule Book as well as any current updates to that rule book for use during the clinic. All other materials will be provided.
