There is a new kid on the block. Oldenburg (GOV) stallion Rosall, by Rosario out of Akzent II mare is just over from Germany, and he won the blue at Devon in the four-year-old stallion Materiale class. His very accomplished grand prix rider, Jessica Jo Tate, is thrilled with him, and very proud of the way he handled his week at Devon. Tate, now training/riding some very successful young horses, said, "He is always the gentleman, always easy to work with, and his work ethic and character are impeccable!"
Rosall was Top Stallion at his 30-day test in Germany. Now he is here in the United States to join senior stallion ESDonavan as part of the new Kent Island Sporthorse program in Maryland (formerly Riverland Farm, WI), owned by Wendy and Marty Costello. Not only will he cross well with some of the Donavan mares, but with other quality mares in the program, and he will be offered to American breeders soon. E-mail [email protected], or go to www.esdonavan.com for more information and photos of Rosall.
