The Equestrian Aid Foundation (EAF) is delighted to announce the First Annual Celebrity Roast honoring the birthdays of two icons in the horse industry. George Morris, legendary hunter/jumper guru, and Jessica Ransehausen, a driving force in American dressage, are both turning 70.

This birthday celebration will bring together equestrians, fans and well wishers to roast these two legends at a bash to benefit the Equestrian Aid Foundation/Ride for Hope. Announcer extraordinaire Peter Doubleday will lead the crowd as the Roastmaster. Guests can expect an evening filled with many touching stories, tributes and anecdotes about the colorful lives of the celebrity guests. You can be certain that a few of those stories will put George and Jessica in the hot seat!

“George and Jessica are beloved icons that have shaped thousands of riders in our industry,” says EAF Founder Robert Dover. “We wanted to honor them for all of their contributions, but we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a little fun with them too! Anyone who’s been on the receiving end of their expertise won’t want to miss the roast! And best of all, this great event will benefit the Equestrian Aid Foundation, an organization that strives to help all that need assistance in our industry.”

This elegant, black tie optional, extravaganza will be held the evening of February 26, 2008, at the Palm Beach International Polo Club in Wellington, FL. Many sponsorship and ticket options are available to meet any budget. For those who cannot attend in person, they can enjoy all of the festivities and show their support by viewing a webcast available around the world.
