Dressage Competitions Invited to Submit Applications for USEF High Performance Qualifying Competitions for 2008/2009 Championship Season

by Sarah Evers | Jan 30, 2008, 5:01 PM

Lexington, KY - The United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. invites licensed dressage competitions to apply to become an official “qualifying competition” for the 2009 USEF National Grand Prix Dressage Championship and the 2009 USEF National Intermediaire I Dressage Championship.

For the 2009 Championship season, only CDI 3*/CDI-W competitions will be used as qualifying competitions for the 2009 USEF National Grand Prix Dressage Championship, and therefore all CDI’s will also be qualifiers for the 2009 USEF National Intermediaire I Dressage Championship. Additionally, non-CDI dressage competitions will be considered as qualifiers for the Intermediaire I division only.

At this time applications for competitions licensed for dates from July 1, 2008 – June 1, 2009 will be considered. A completed application for each licensed competition must be submitted to the USEF office and received by April 25, 2008. Applications received after this deadline will NOT be considered. An application and more information about these programs can be found on the USEF website.
