Sunrise Stables and Melissa Moore Clinics Partner with American Saddlebred Horse Association for Annual Convention and Youth Conference

by By Will Wood, Jr. | Feb 7, 2008, 10:29 AM

With the opening of her new training barn, riding academy, and offering of introductory clinics, Melissa Moore’s Sunrise Stables has become the newest presenting sponsor of the American Saddlebred Horse Association’s (ASHA) Annual Convention and Youth Conference. The convention is set for Thursday, February 14, through Saturday, February 16, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lexington, KY. For more information, visit www.asha.net/ASHA-Annual-Meeting.

Moore plans to host a series of three to four weekends of clinics (and camps) annually, with the majority for advanced riders and/or owner amateur trainers with significant riding and showing experience. The first two clinics are Sunday, February 17, and Monday, February 18, immediately following the ASHA meetings in Lexington. Each day is a separate clinic. Along with Moore, clinicians announced for the first series are Bret Day, Tre Lee, Tom Lowry and Eddie Williams. Special additional guests will be announced soon. A limited number of auditors is permitted at a reduced fee. The new Sunrise Stables is located on Troy Pike in Versailles, near Lexington.

Participants may bring their own horse to some camps and clinics or borrow a mount from the Sunrise Stables Riding Academy. Participants are invited to a reception on the first evening.
