USEF National Driving Championships Announced; Selection Procedures Finalized

Lexington, KY --The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Executive Committee has approved two important high-performance driving initiatives for 2008.

USEF National Championships Announced

Dates and Locations for the 2008 USEF National Driving Championships are as follows: the 2008 USEF National Four-in-Hand Championship and the USEF National Single Horse Championship will be held simultaneously at the Live Oak Combined Driving Event in Ocala, FL, March 27-30. Please visit the Live Oak website: www.cailiveoak.com for more information about the venue and the competition.

The ponies have their championships in the fall when the 2008 USEF National Pony Driving Championship will be held during the Laurels at Landhope competition in Unionville, PA. This competition will also play host to the 2008 USEF National Pair Championship and runs September 4-7. Please see www.laurelscde.org for further details.

Selection Procedures Approved

The selection procedures for the 2008 Single Horse World Championships and the 2008 Four-in-Hand World Championships have both been approved and can be found on the USEF website: http://www.usef.org/Contentpage2.aspx?id=hpdriving.
