American Warmblood Society Recognizes 2007 Breeder of the Year

The American Warmblood Society (AWS) would like to recognize Sarah and Gerd Reuter of European Performance Horses, VA, as the 2007 Breeder of the Year. Their average foal score was 79.64%. This average included two Supreme foals (scoring 80% or higher) and three Blue Preferred foals (75-75.999% ) The Reuters were also honored with this award in 2004 and 2006. The AWS would like to thank them for improving the standard for American sport horse breeders.

The AWS is a non-profit horse registry founded in 1983 dedicated to talented sport horses from the grassroots through the highest levels. As one of the full members of the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH), the AWS promotes, represents, records and registers horses for the Olympic sports and combined driving worldwide, and is actively involved with the issues of breeding selection, performance indexing, research and continuing education in the sport horse industry.
