Marilyn Payne will host a Spalding Labs/United States Eventing Association (USEA) Young Event Horse (YEH) judging seminar at Galway Downs on March 27, which will be held in conjunction with the Continuing Education Clinics program that will be happening that weekend. The seminar will start at 1 p.m. and will tentatively end at 5 p.m. Those that have already signed up for the CEC program can attend for free. Those that wish to sign up just for the YEH seminar will pay a $50 fee, payable to the USEA. There will be time in the classroom and then there will be horse-and-rider combinations to critique outside as well.

1:00 p.m. - Theory and Methodology, Score Sheets, Conformation
2:00 p.m. - Dressage - Gaits (three horses for demonstration); Discussion of Score Sheets
3:00 p.m. - 4 Year Old Test
3:15 p.m. - 5 Year Old Test
3:30 p.m. - Break
4:00 p.m. - Jumping - Evaluate three horses together over single fences, discuss score sheets
4:30 p.m. - Two horses over entire course - Four-Year-Olds; Two horses over entire course – Five-Year-Olds
5:30 p.m. - Conformation
6:00 p.m. - Wrap Up - Q&A Session
