Tampa Equestrian Festival to Host $75,000 FEI World Cup™ Qualifier and Just World International Grand Prix of Tampa CSI ***-W

The Tampa Equestrian Festival, produced by Stadium Jumping, Inc., and held at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center in Tampa, FL, will proudly feature the $75,000 FEI World Cup™ Qualifier and Just World International Grand Prix of Tampa CSI***-W at 2 p.m. on March 30, 2008. The competition counts towards the Rolex FEI World Cup Jumping Finals, scheduled for April 24-27, 2008, in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The Tampa Equestrian Festival spans three weeks and attracts the very best hunters and show jumpers in the nation. Kicking off on March 19-23 with the Suncoast International Horse Show, the show continues the week of March 26-30 with the Tampa Bay Classic. The competition wraps up the week of April 1-6 with the Tournament of Champions.

The $75,000 FEI World Cup™ Qualifier and Just World International Grand Prix of Tampa CSI***-W will be conducted under the current FEI rules for World Cup and FEI rules for jumping events. With fences towering at 1.60 meters tall, this event is also a Rolex World Ranking Competition and a qualifier for the $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational CSI****, which will be held under lights on April 5 at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium.

Just World International, charity beneficiary of the Just World International Grand Prix of Tampa, is a recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization in the United States and a registered Association 1901 in France. The charity, founded by equestrian Jessica Newman, acts as a catalyst for positive change in the developing world by working with local partner organizations to provide basic education, nutrition, health and hygiene programs, and vocational training for children in impoverished communities. Just World International also provides young people with the opportunity to actively participate in humanitarian work.

Additional show jumping events at the Tampa Equestrian Festival include the $30,000 Grand Prix of Florida, which will be held on Sunday, March 23, the $25,000 WEF Challenge on Thursday, March 27, and the $30,000 WEF Challenge Cup, the final qualifier for the American Invitational, held on Thursday, April 3.
