USEF Announces 2008 U.S. Equestrian Paralympic Team

Lexington, KY – The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has named the horse and rider combinations for the 2008 U.S. Paralympic Team-Equestrian in Hong Kong September 7-11. This announcement follows the 2008 USEF National Para Equestrian Championships and Paralympics Selection Trials which were held May 16-18 at the Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, IL.

The combinations are as follows (listed alphabetically):

“The U.S. Paralympic Equestrian Dressage Team is made up of some of the most talented riders in the sport,” said Pam Lane, USEF Director of Para Equestrian and Vaulting. “Currently, the U.S. is ranked fourth in the world. Everyone is very excited about representing the United States in Hong Kong.”

Para Equestrian is the sport for Equestrians with physical disabilities that compete in parallel competitions from the national level through the Olympics.
