Tunica Gears Up for Chris Cox Ride the Journey Tour

by severs | Jun 3, 2008, 4:02 PM

With a second consecutive Road to the Horse Championship title under his belt and a new Western Horseman book recently released, clinician Chris Cox is riding high. Don’t miss the excitement as Chris brings his “Ride the Journey” tour to Tunica, MS, for a two-day learning experience on July 26 and 27 at the Tunica Arena & Exposition Center.

Chris’ RFD-TV program carries his down-to-earth style and authentic brand of horsemanship to households across America. Those attending the Tunica event will discover first-hand why his techniques have become so popular and effective with horse owners of all ages and disciplines.

Demonstrations include colt starting, solving bucking problems, trailer loading, creating the natural headset, and leads and lead changes. Local horses and riders will participate. There will also be exciting advanced horsemanship demos and an enlightening session on building rider confidence.

Autograph and Q&A sessions afford an opportunity to meet Chris in person. Take advantage of this time to buy your own copy of the Western Horseman book, Ride the Journey, by Chris Cox with Cynthia McFarland, and get it signed at the event.
Doors open at 8 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday; demonstrations begin at 9:30. Advance tickets are just $25 and cover admission for both days. Tickets at the door will be $45. Youth under age 14 are admitted free.

The final Ride the Journey tour stop for 2008 will take place in Albuquerque, NM on October 18 & 19 at Expo New Mexico. Advance tickets are now available on the Chris Cox website.
