Log On to Omolene University™, Learn Something New and Do a Good Deed

by By Barbara Yost | Jun 4, 2008, 10:55 AM

The North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) and Purina Mills have partnered to bring horse lovers a fantastic opportunity to learn about equine nutrition and raise money for NARHA equestrian centers that serve people with special needs. Omolene University™ is an educational web site created by Purina Mills for horse owners. In addition to being a fun and interactive way to learn, the courses offer an opportunity to earn a discount on feed and help fund participants’ favorite NARHA centers, and NARHA.

Tuition is free at Omolene University™ and the courses are fascinating! Anyone can participate. The virtual campus is located at www.OmoleneUniversity.com. Participants can sign on, complete the four courses, and earn “Omolene hours” that can be redeemed at the campus store. After completing all four courses, participants will receive a discount coupon and an opportunity to report their results and receive another money saving offer.

“This is such a fun promotion,” said Kaye Marks, NARHA’s marketing director. “I’ve already taken the courses, so I can really recommend the experience. I want to thank Purina Mills for including us in their innovative promotion.”
