Internationally renowned driving champion Chester Weber has been featured in a new television series, The Ocala Horse Show. Weber is based in Ocala, FL, during the winter season. The rest of the year he travels with his team internationally to compete in the world’s premiere driving competitions. Weber is well respected for his outstanding accomplishments in the driving community. He is also a well-rounded horseman and has served as an excellent ambassador to the sport. These characteristics made him an obvious choice to be featured in The Ocala Horse Show TV series.

Chris Wilson, known as “The Wiz,” produces the show for Sunshine Video Productions. This summer series has 10 episodes that air on Fridays on Fox 51. The program features top equestrian professionals in the Ocala, FL, area. Wide ranges of topics highlight different aspects of the equestrian world, including breeding, training, nutrition, grooming, and competing.

The first episode featuring Weber aired in the last month on Fox 51 in Central and Northern Florida counties. Two more episodes featuring Weber will air in June. Other channels also present the program to viewers, including Cox Communication Channel and Bright House Cable. The show is able to reach well over half a million viewers through television networks. Weber has a great deal of knowledge to share with viewers. In March, he celebrated his sixth consecutive national championship at the Budweiser Live Oak International combined driving competition. The latest win comes after a career full of international driving success. As an 18-year-old, Weber became the youngest driver to be named to the United States Equestrian Team (USET). He was also the youngest driver to qualify for the World Pairs Driving Championship and the youngest to win the USET National Driving Championships.

In the first episode that features Weber, he explains the newest form of combined driving carriage. Another episode shows the world-class competition from Aachen, Germany, with commentary from Weber. The last episode of The Ocala Horse Show includes footage of the Live Oak International Festival and Weber racing through the course to claim his sixth consecutive national title.
