2008 Saddle Seat World Cup Fundraiser to Benefit U.S.

The U.S. Saddle Seat Equitation World Cup will be hosting a benefit dinner on Sunday evening, July
6, at the beautiful and historic Spindletop Hall in Lexington, KY. The 2008 Gold Medal Celebration
will feature a seated dinner, cash bar and great auction items. Tickets may be purchased for $75 each
from any World Cup team member or by contacting Executive Secretary Christy O’Donnell at [email protected] or (813) 760-0465.

The U.S. Saddle Seat Equitation World Cup is also proud to announce the coaches and managers for Team USA. The coaches
and managers for the 2008 teams are:

Three-Gaited: Gary Garone – Coach (Richmond, NH)
Three-Gaited: Jo Cornell – Manager (Crestwood, KY)

Five-Gaited: Anne Speck – Coach (Valley Center, CA)
Five-Gaited: Missy Hughes – Manager (Rockport, IN)

Team USA will be competing at the 2008 International Saddle Seat World Cup competition to be held
September 21–28, 2008, in Tulbagh, South Africa.

The U.S. will be taking on teams from around the world in an effort to match the double-Gold medal
performances turned in by Team USA in both 2004 and 2006.

The mission of the U.S. Saddle Seat Equitation World Cup is to expand the presence of saddle seat
equitation on both national and international levels through team-based competition and promotion of the
discipline by our athletes and officials. The U.S. Saddle Seat World Cup is a registered 501(c)(3)
corporation.
