The American Morgan Horse Educational Charitable Trust (AMHECT) is excited to announce a partnership with the Internet-based charity site, “eBay Giving Works” and “MissionFish.” These programs will work in conjunction with eBay, the hugely popular Internet commerce center, to collect funds for the American AMHECT. Giving Works allows AMHECT to act as an auctioneer, posting sellable items on eBay where anyone can make a purchase. All proceeds from these sales are directly deposited to the AMHECT.
For those already involved with eBay’s auctioneer activities, there is the added option of fast-tracking a portion of a merchant’s sales directly to the AMHECT though Giving Works. eBay sellers may elect any percentage of their profits to be donated to the AMHECT, be they a moderate 10% or a charitable 100% of a seller’s profit.
Not an eBay seller or a buyer, but still would like to make a contribution? Send donated items valued at 25$ or more and AMHECT will arrange for them to be auctioned on eBay. AMHECT receives all profits of the eBay sales with the help of MissionFish, guaranteeing a safe transaction process.
Money collected with MissionFish fundraising will support important educational projects defined by the charter of the AMHECT. The AMHECT has acted as a fundamental resource in educational outreach, supporting youth programs, and was instrumental in the development of the Kentucky Horse Park Morgan Exhibit.
With costs rising considerably this year, we would greatly appreciate any participation to aid AMHECT in its mission to continue offering quality educational experiences. For more information on either of the programs, e-mail [email protected].
