Succeed® Challenge Series for MidSouth Eventing and Dressage Association Renewed for 2008 Competition Year

by By Equine Resources International, LLC | Jun 12, 2008, 10:13 AM

Freedom Health, LLC, continues to support local and regional equestrian organizations with the renewal of the Succeed® Challenge Series for the 2008 competition year for amateur members of the MidSouth Eventing and Dressage Association (MSEDA). Eligible members of MSEDA who use Succeed® Digestive Conditioning Program® and compete in selected events will accumulate points in the Succeed Challenge Series, which will award more than $2,000 in money and prizes to the highest-placing horse-and-rider combinations.

“We are delighted to continue the popular Succeed Challenge Series with MSEDA again this year,” said Patrick Warczak, Vice President—Marketing at Freedom Health. “Based on the enthusiastic response and success of our participating riders last year, the Succeed Challenge Series continues to help raise awareness of the long-reaching effects of digestive health—from stamina and trainability to a healthy coat and a willing attitude.”

First through third place will be awarded in the beginner novice, novice, training, and preliminary divisions. First-place finishers will receive $500 in prize money, a 90-day supply of Succeed Digestive Conditioning Program and additional prizes to be provided by Devon-Aire. Second- and third-place finishers will receive a 60-day and 30-day supply, respectively, of Succeed Digestive Conditioning Program.

Succeed purchases made through Brumfield Hay and Grain and Metzger’s Country Store are automatically entered into a database of eligible entries. Owners who purchase Succeed at other retailers and would like to participate in the program need to submit a completed entry form with a copy of their receipt and a $5.00 processing fee. For full rules and eligibility requirements, visit www.succeeddcp.com/challenge.asp.

Dressage and eventing are both grueling disciplines that require equine athletes to be in peak condition to compete successfully. Any discomfort or soreness could translate into a lack of suppleness in the dressage ring or a lack of speed on the cross-country course. Many training issues, from a poor attitude to lackluster performance, may have their roots in digestive health.

Succeed Digestive Conditioning Program is a Functional Feed™ that supports the health and structure of the digestive tract—the fuel line for every other system in the horse’s body. By using Succeed to support digestive function, owners and trainers may see improvements in behavior, appearance, athletic ability and other aspects of overall well-being—all of which are essential qualities in competition.

The Succeed Challenge Series may be extended to other equestrian organizations around the country. Show and organization secretaries interested in hosting this program may contact Alicia Prister at [email protected] for more information.
