American Saddlebred Horse Association Annual Meeting and Youth Conference

The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) Annual Meeting and Youth Conference is set for Thursday through Saturday, February 17-19, at the Embassy Suites in Lexington, KY.

The Annual Meeting is the one time each year when the membership meets formally and directly with the Association’s leadership. This year’s open forum is titled “Brainstorming the Future of The Saddlebred.” Leaders of the Association and other leading breeders, owners, professionals, experts, amateurs and those with outside perspectives will access where the Saddlebred stands today and where its headed.

Other highlights planned for the Annual Meeting are the American Saddlebred Ball at the Keeneland Race Course Entertainment Center, Sport Horse Luncheon and the Annual Luncheon in Honor of ASHA Charter Clubs, National Pleasure Horse Champions and Breeders’ Award winners.

A number of topics will be discussed at various forums and seminars including amateur/owner/trainers, American Saddlebred breeding, futurities, American Saddlebred sport horses, American Horse Council and more.

The Youth Conference highlights include activities and demonstrations with William Woods University, youth awards breakfast, field trips to a number of Saddlebred facilities, youth awards lunch at The Red Mile and the American Saddlebred Ball at the Keeneland Race Course Entertainment Center.
