by By Reeves Kirtner | Feb 2, 2005, 11:11 AM

Committee meetings at the 2005 American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) Annual Meeting will be open for auditing to ASHA members registered at the convention.

Members first received the news about open meetings when they received their Annual Meeting and Youth Conference registration information. A note regarding committee meetings stated, “Committee meetings may be audited by members of the Association at the discretion of the committee.” While only members of the committees may vote on matters of committee business, auditors may speak and express opinions on items of concern at the invitation of the committee.

A Finance Committee meeting, open to all registrants, has been added at the Annual Meeting for Thursday, February 17 at 8 a.m. This meeting has been set to review detailed financials for both the association and foundation.

The Sport Horse Committee meeting, which will also be open to all registrants, has been moved from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. due to a time conflict.
