At the 2008 Stallion Service Auction, the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA) raised over $150,000 to help breed promotions, the World Morgan Futurity, and AMHA regional shows.
The Marketing and Promotions Committee has put its portion of the proceeds to good use and is delighted to share a partial list of the things participation in the auction has done to help promote the breed. In October, AMHA will be launching a new marketing effort and unveil a new graphic. This exciting new icon and messaging is research-based and will help to grow the Morgan community for the future. Expect to see this not only in promotional messages and literature, but in retail items and a whole new website design. Look for advertising on our treasured Morgan horse in some great print publications and online.
AMHA hopes you will support the auction in 2009. February isn't that far away, so please contact Erica Richard, Director of Membership/IT, if you'd like to donate a stallion for the 2009 auction, which will be online in early December and will close at the AMHA Convention in Sacramento, CA.
