Two-Time Road to the Horse Champion Chris Cox Coming to Albuquerque, NM

by By Glen Young | Aug 26, 2008, 11:23 AM

Don’t miss the final tour stop of 2008 as master horseman Chris Cox brings his Ride the Journey tour to Albuquerque, NM. Gear up for a memorable two-day learning experience as Cox takes to the arena on October 18 and 19 at Expo New Mexico.

Two-time Road to the Horse Champion and popular clinician, Cox knows how to share a lifetime of knowledge in ways that inspire and enlighten. His approach to horsemanship is all about building a willing, working partnership on a firm foundation.

Cox’ RFD-TV program carries his down-to-earth style and authentic brand of horsemanship to households across America. Those attending the Albuquerque event will discover first-hand why his techniques have become so popular and effective with horse owners of all ages and disciplines.

Demonstrations include colt starting, solving bucking problems, trailer loading, creating the natural headset, leads and lead changes. Watch as he works with local horses and riders to bring about remarkable changes. There will also be exciting advanced horsemanship demos and an empowering session on building rider confidence.

Autograph and Question and Answer sessions afford an opportunity to meet Cox in person. Take advantage of this time to buy your own copy of the recently released Western Horseman book, Ride the Journey, by Chris Cox with Cynthia McFarland, and get it signed at the event. Throughout the book, Cox shows horse owners how to put his common sense theory into practice using easy-to-understand exercises based on a building-block approach. No gimmicks or specialized equipment required.

Doors open at 8 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday; demonstrations begin at 9:30. Advance tickets are just $25 and cover admission for both days. Tickets at the door will be $45. Youth under age 14 are admitted free.

Advance tickets are available by visiting www.chris-cox.com, or call (888) 81-HORSE.
