Tickets Now Available for The EQUUS Foundation "Deal or No Deal" Event in Syracuse

by By Phelps Media Group | Sep 24, 2008, 4:56 PM

Tickets are now available for EQUUS "Deal or No Deal" event at the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament on Friday, October 31, 2008. Hosted by Bates Saddles, The EQUUS Foundation will feature the top junior equitation riders competing at the show as the Deal or No Deal Suitcase Models.

The event, which will held in the OnCenter Ballroom from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m, will take place simultaneously with the Bates Equitation Meeting where equitation riders, trainers and parents will have the opportunity to meet and hear from the judges and also take a break from the competition to enjoy a reception, dinner, and an entertaining take-off on the well-known TV show featuring emcee Mason Phelps, Jr., National Horse Show Chairman. The contestants will be chosen from among the audience so everyone has a chance to win the grand prize of $5,000, or make a deal for great prizes.

Recognizing that competition for charitable dollars is fierce, The EQUUS Foundation sponsors entertaining events each year in part to give something back to donors who give so generously. The EQUUS Foundation, Inc., recently announced the award of over $300,000 to 50 charities involved in equestrian and equine activities. The awards were made possible almost entirely from event contributors. Donations for event attendance are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

The EQUUS Foundation is seeking individuals and organizations in the equestrian community to assist with their gracious generosity. Suitcase Sponsorships (Tables of six) are $1,000; Individual seats are $100 per adult; $50 per child 12 and under.
