The United States Hunter Jumper Association’s “Building For Growth” Capital Campaign will officially launch on Thursday, September 25, at the Kentucky Horse Park (KHP) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The launch event will be held at the historic “Farmhouse” on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park.

This event will kick off the USHJA’s Capital Campaign to raise all funds necessary to construct and maintain a nationally recognized headquarters at the Kentucky Horse Park, the epicenter of equestrian sports and soon to be host of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010. Special guests include First Lady of Kentucky, Jane Beshear and Director of the KHP, John Nicholson.

The new USHJA headquarters building will be located on a prominent site at the Kentucky Horse Park, among other established visitor attractions. Signifying the future and permanence of the hunter/jumper Sport in Lexington, KY, the horse capital of the world, the building will have several components that serve multiple purposes for the organization and the sports represented. Both interior and exterior spaces have been designed to serve as seminar and training areas and also serve as entertaining spaces during special events. The museum component of the building will serve as a dynamic introduction to the novice and celebrates the sport to the enthusiast.
