USEF Announces Plans for 2009 Annual Meeting

The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) announces the details for the 2009 Annual Meeting, which will take place January 14-18 at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza in Cincinnati, OH.

Registration for this year’s annual meeting is $55 per person. This includes all breakfast and lunch functions as well as registration materials. The deadline to get the discounted registration rate of $55 is December 19. Should you want to register on site, registration will be $80. Please note: registration will close at the end of business on December 19 and reopen on site January 13 at 1:00 p.m.

Tickets for the Pegasus and Horse of the Year Awards Receptions and Dinners are also available. Please note that these events have switched dates. The Horse of the Year Awards will now take place on Friday and the Pegasus Awards will take place on Saturday.

The Silver Stirrup Awards will be presented on Thursday evening, January 15. Tickets are not required to attend this event as it is included in the registration fee.

The Federation has secured a hotel group rate of $129 plus tax. A limited number of junior suites are also available for $159 plus tax. The deadline to take advantage of this special rate is December 14, 2008. The Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza has been designated a National Historic Landmark by the U.S. Department of the Interior, and continues to receive acclaim as one of the finest examples of French Art Deco architecture in existence. It sits directly across from Fountain Square in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. It is connected to Tower Place, the upscale retail development that boasts over 50 specialty shops, dining establishments, entertainment complexes and parking.
