Diane Carney of Telluride Farm is pleased to announce that the annual George H. Morris Clinic is scheduled for Thanksgiving weekend at Canterbury Farm in Hampshire, IL. Held for over 20 years, this annual tradition educates groups who range in experience from the 1.10 meter competition height to the grand prix level. Auditors are welcome, and no reservations are needed for the three-day clinic, which will be held from November 28-30, 2008.

On Saturday, November 29, Zone 5 is sponsoring lunch for participants and auditors. Film excerpts of show jumping from the 2008 Olympics in Hong Kong will be played and discussed in detail by George H. Morris, who was the chef d'equipe for the United States Equestrian Team at the Olympic Games. His guidance led U.S. show jumping athletes to win the Team Gold medal and Individual Bronze medal.

"We always enjoy the experience of George's clinics and showing our appreciation for his knowledge and spirit as a whole," commented Carney. "Greg Franklin of Canterbury Farm is the host, and I've coordinated the event for years. We are thrilled to have George come every year. We're excited to applaud him, not only for his teaching, but for his joy and accomplishment at this year's Olympic Games. We even purchased jumps from the Olympics in Hong Kong for this year's clinic!"
