The Stallion Hit Parade SFS Wins Second Level Dressage Championships

by By Hilltop Farm | Nov 10, 2008, 11:47 AM

The latest addition to the Hilltop Farm Guest Stallion Program, Hit Parade (Show Star x Ehrentusch), owned by Savoire Faire Stables, competed at the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Region 7 Championships & CDS Annual Championships this October and was truly one of the "hits" of the show with his second-level championship win in both the USDF Horse of the Year and the CDS Horse of the Year Championships.

The CDS Championship title was awarded based on the averages of Friday and Saturday scores. Winning both of these classes, Hit Parade scored a 72.5% on his Saturday second four test consisting of seven 9's awarded by Doreen Horsey, the judge at E, throughout the test, including a '9' on gaits. Test comments were equally impressive with quotes like "Goose bump material" and "What a treat!" His USDF championship class was on Sunday, where he continued his victory sweep with the winning score of 71.429%.
