Stadium Jumping, Inc., Announces Dates of 2009 Tampa Equestrian Festival

Stadium Jumping, Inc., one of the nation's leading horse show production companies, is pleased to announce the official dates of the 2009 Tampa Equestrian Festival and 37th Annual $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational. This year the festival will host three weeks of equestrian competition with the world's best riders, horses and Olympians. The show will run from March 18-April 4 at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, FL.

The Tampa Equestrian Festival will begin its three weeks of competition with the Suncoast Internationale, which will run from March 18-22. That will be followed by the Tampa Bay Classic CSI***-W on March 25-29, and the Tournament of Champions CSI March 31 thru April 4.

"We look forward to another great year at the Tampa Equestrian Festival," commented Eugene R. Mische, president of Stadium Jumping, Inc. "We have a long history of producing excellent equestrian events, and this year in Tampa will be no different. Exhibitors can expect three weeks of exceptional competition."

The 37th Annual $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational will be the feature event on the final day of competition, April 4, at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The American Invitational is one of the premiere show jumping events in the United States.

Other feature classes, which will be held at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center, will include the $35,000 Tampa Bay Welcome Stake to kick off the first week of competition on Wednesday, March 18, the $75,000 FEI World Cup Qualifier CSI***-W Just World International Grand Prix of Tampa on Sunday, March 29, and the final qualifying event for the American Invitational, a $35,000 Grand Prix of Florida CSI on Wednesday, April 1.

The show will also feature three weeks of 'AA' rated hunter competition with some of the top hunter horses and riders in the nation.
