Registration Open for United States Hunter Jumper Association's First Trainer Symposium

by By Whitney Allen | Feb 4, 2009, 3:36 PM

Registration is now open for the first 2009 United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) Trainer Symposium. Savannah College of Art and Design will host the Trainer Symposium on May 1-3 in Savannah, GA. Trainer Symposiums give members the opportunity to participate in practical training sessions and round table discussions with top professionals in the industry. The schedule offers three days of instruction from top clinicians in the country, specializing in hunters, equitation and jumpers, with topics ranging from training exercises to business practices. Clinicians for the event are still to be determined.

Those who are applying for certification when the new Trainer Certification Program (TCP) unveils in June 2009 will be able to count the SCAD symposium to their credit. The TCP requires candidates to attend a Trainer Symposium in order to be certified.

Register to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design Trainer Symposium at www.ushja.org/programs/symposium_GA-reg-09.pdf. Be sure to check the USHJA website at www.ushja.org for updated information concerning the symposium and clinician information.
