The Paso Fino Horse Association (PFHA) Board of Directors recently approved several new fees. The first fee is for an Embryo Transfer Permit. This permit must be submitted prior to or with the registration of any foal born in 2010 as the result of an embryo transfer. The form is available at www.pfha.org under InfoSeek and then Forms or by the calling the PFHA office.

The cost to file this permit is $500. The permit fee must be paid prior to the completion of the registration of the foal for which the permit is required.

The other fee that was approved by the Board of Directors is for the Recording of Castration. The cost to process this request will be $10. You will still need to send in the original Certificate of Registration to PFHA with the Date of Castration and the signature of the owner(s) in the appropriate area.

The effective date of this fee implementation is March 1, 2009.
