Reduced Registration and Transfer Fees Passed by the National Show Horse Registry Board of Directors; Revised Finals Criteria Announced

by Sarah Evers | Mar 18, 2009, 4:37 PM

Effective immediately and until December 31, 2009, registration fees at the National Show Horse Registry (NSHR) for National Show Horses will be $250 for horses three months and older whose sire is NSHR Lifetime Nominated and $500 for horses three months and older whose sire is not NSHR Lifetime Nominated.

Effective immediately and until December 31, 2009, the transfer fee of a National Show Horse will be no more than $100 regardless of the number of interim owners as long as the current owner is a current NSHR member.

Don’t forget to enroll all saddleseat horses to the Show Horse Alliance for the fee of $150.00. This will make your horse eligible to compete in the Show Horse Alliance classes at Finals.

NSHR Finals is happy to once again include the Renai Horse Registry, and the Hackney Horse and Pony Classes in this years schedule. Watch the website for the upcoming and revised show schedule, set to be held in Springfield, IL, at the State Fairgrounds, September 16-19, 2009.

NSHR Finals Qualifications Revised 2009
Horses may show at the National Show Horse Registry Finals in all eligible classes, whether qualified or not. However, if a horse is not qualified prior to the Finals for the division that requires qualification, they will not be eligible for any prize money. Qualification prior to Finals is mandatory for riders showing in National Show Horse (NSH) Saddle Seat Equitation 13 & Under, NSH Saddle Seat Equitation 14-17 and UPHA/NSH Challenge Cup 17 & Under. These riders must qualify to show at NSH Finals.
