United States Equestrian Team Foundation Signs with Phelps Media Group

by By Phelps Media Group | Mar 17, 2005, 10:46 AM

The Phelps Media Group, Inc. (PMG), a public relations firm based in Wellington, FL, announced the signing of the United States Equestrian Team (USET) Foundation as their newest client.

The United States Equestrian Team Foundation supports the competition, training, coaching, travel and educational needs of America's elite and developing international high-performance horses and athletes in partnership with the U.S. Equestrian Federation.

PMG has been hired to coordinate all aspects of public relations as it applies to the USET Foundation. In addition, Phelps Media Group will handle all media inquiries, produce the USET Foundation’s quarterly newsletter and will take over the redesign and management of the USET Foundation’s website.

Mason Phelps, President of Phelps Media Group, Inc., said that he was thrilled to once again be officially associated with an organization that has been a major part of his life. "For most of my life, in one way or another, I've been a part of the United States Equestrian Team. From my competition days when I represented the United States of America to our major fundraisers, including the highly successful Denim and Diamonds in Florida, the Debbie McDonald auction at the Olympic Dressage Trials in California, the USET and Mason Phelps have been together for a very long time," he said. "I'm thrilled that the Foundation has recognized the quality work we've done for our clients here at PMG and have decided that we can do the same for them," Phelps said. "I'm totally confident that we will."

Phelps added that work has already begun. "We've already started working the Foundation's website. It will be totally upgraded and we'll unveil the new look in the very near future," Phelps revealed. "I'm also very excited about the quarterly newsletter. I'm working out the final details on bringing aboard someone who is going to add a lot of excitement, flair and professionalism to the publication," he said. "The USET Foundation's financial support to the international programs is so important. We must let the world know what our athletes are doing worldwide. The successes of our very best on the world's greatest equestrian stages as well as documenting all our rising stars to show how contributions to the Foundation will make a difference in increasing the opportunities for our athletes and make the U.S. Equestrian Teams the best in the world.
