Stacy Parvey-Larsson, owner of Hidden Acres Dressage in Ocala, FL, rode away with the FEI High Point title at the recent Dressage on the First Coast show in Jacksonville, FL, aboard the beautiful black Trakehner gelding High and Mighty. Parvey-Larsson earned a high score of 79.211% in the Intermediare I class, which was sponsored by The Oaks of Lake City Equestrian Center.

“Aileen Daly recently purchased High and Mighty, and I am very grateful to have been able to show him throughout the winter season,” Parvey-Larsson said. “I am looking forward to Aileen taking over the reins now.”

Parvey-Larsson said she is excited for Daly to begin showing High and Mighty, known as Ozzie around the barn, as the 17.3-hand gelding is an excellent teacher. “Aileen is going to start at third level and work toward FEI,” Parvey-Larsson said.

A USDF Bronze and Silver medalist, Parvey-Larsson was pleased with High and Mighty’s ride, as well as the entire weekend. “I was worried for the horses and my students when we arrived at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center because it was raining. By the time the show started, however, the rings were high and dry and the show ran very smoothly,” she said.

Parvey-Larsson was also pleased that The Oaks of Lake City Equestrian Center helped sponsor the Dressage on the First Coast show. “It was great that they sponsored the FEI High Score,” she said. “The Oaks of Lake City Equestrian Center is a great facility. My husband, Olof, works for combined driver Chester Weber, and they did a combined driving demonstration at The Oaks of Lake City’s grand opening. It’s a beautiful facility.”

The Oaks of Lake City Equestrian Center sponsored championship awards for each USDF level in addition to the FEI High Score award won by Parvey-Larsson. There was a tie for the Training Level Championship between Katherine Poulin on Paddington Bear and Alex Robertson on Leela who each scored a 78.800%, and each took home a prize from The Oaks. The First Level Champion was Leigh Kent and Sir Luckas with the score of 75.000%. The Second Level title went to Erin Brinkman aboard Duncan McCloud; the pair earned a score of 71.395%. A 77.170% was awarded to Lawrence Poulin on Sultan Saffire for the Third Level Championship. Deborah Terantino on Delphino won the title of Fourth Level Champion with a 71.860%.
