It’s barely spring and the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) is already preparing for the 2009 World Appaloosa Sale. This exciting, world-class sale will be held October 28, 2009, at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, TX. The ApHC would like to invite owners of quality ApHC-registered Appaloosas to consign their horses by August 1 to the 2009 World Appaloosa Sale, which encompasses three sale categories.

The Yearling Incentive Sale will feature the finest Appaloosa yearlings from throughout the country. Yearlings consigned to this sale will be eligible for $30,000 in guaranteed payouts in three incentive futurity classes at the 2010 World Championship Appaloosa Show. To win big money, owners may consign their Appaloosa to the Yearling Incentive Sale for $500 per horse.

The Broodmare Incentive Sale will consist of bred mares whose resulting ApHC-registered foal will be eligible as a two-year-old to compete in the incentive futurity classes. The consignment fee for the Broodmare Incentive Sale is $500 per horse.

The Select and Broodmare Sale will include first-class performance and breeding Appaloosas. Foals from broodmares sold in the Select Sale are not eligible for incentive classes. The consignment fee for the Select and Broodmare Sale is $350 per horse.
