by By Allyn McCracken | Apr 28, 2009, 12:00 PM

Sixteen members of the Belgian Warmblood Breeding Association North American District attended the three-day Stallion Selections and the horse show of previously approved stallions at the famous equestrian facility, Het Zilveren Spoor in Moorsele, Belgium. Prior to the stallion selection, members were treated to a tour of breeding farms, including the breeders of Sapphire, Up Chiqui and Narcotique De Muze.

During the competition, the officers of the BWP asked Allyn McCracken to come present the trophy to the winner of the six-year-old stallions to show their appreciation for the work that the BWP/NAD has done in the U.S. for the Belgian Warmblood. Then they presented her with a bouquet of flowers to honor her and Bannockburn Farm for being a pioneer for breeding of Belgian Warmbloods in North America.

Fletcher and Allyn McCracken are the Owners of Bannockburn Farm, which breeds and raises Belgian Warmbloods and stands the BWP stallion Simsalabim V/Berkenbroeck .
