The Swedish Warmblood Association of North America (SWANA) is pleased to announce that the KWPN Grand Prix dressage stallion Lingh has been approved as a Swedish breeding stallion for North America. Lingh has been selected to be a featured stallion at the National Stud in Sweden, Flyinge, for the 2009 breeding season. Partnered with Edward Gal, Lingh has been a top international grand prix dressage competitor with many grand prix and Dutch national championship wins, including first in the grand prix at the Las Vegas World Cup in 2005. He was sold in 2006 and with his new owner, Karin Reid Offield, Lingh went on to become an amateur champion and ladies mount.

Because Lingh is approved as a full breeding stallion in Sweden now, foals from most warmblood mares and also from Thoroughbred mares are eligible for full Swedish registration papers, through SWANA. SWANA does not require inspection of the mare or foal for registration, although it is strongly encouraged. Branding is optional. Horse must be inspected and achieve a minimum score to be branded.
