Hilltop Farm is excited to report on the early show season successes of some of our stallions.

Fielding (Fred Astair x Lessing, by Banter), a five-year-old stallion owned and bred by Autumn Hill Farm made his United States Equestrian Federation debut under Michael Bragdell on April 18-19 at the Virginia Dressage Association (VADA)/Nova Spring Dressage Show. The pair handily won all three of their first level tests with scores up to 68.571%. The young stallion displayed his excellent composure, work ethic, and seemed to enjoy being in the spotlight.

Fielding also competed in the May 2-3 CDCTA Dressage Event also at Morven Park. Fielding again won First Level Test Three with a score of 68.571% and scored an impressive 75.00% in First Level Test Four. For a change of pace, Fielding also competed in the FEI dressage test for five-year-old horses receiving an overall score of 8.1 with judge's comments of "moving right along the scale of training and has really great potential to work his way to the top."

Hilltop Farm's Royal Prince (Rohdiamant x Prince Thatch xx, by Wenzel I) joined the show team at the CDCTA Dressage Show at Morven Park in Virginia. Despite the rain, it was an excellent first outing of the year for Michael Bragdell and Royal Prince. On Saturday they won Fourth Level Test Two and followed up with another win on Sunday in Fourth Level Test Three scoring a 69.268%.
