Congratulations American Morgan Horse Association Morgan Open High-Point Award Winners

The Morgan Open High-Point Award is sponsored by the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA) and is available to open equestrian competitions around the country. Currently more than 150 events will be offering the award to competitors exhibiting with a registered Morgan.

Congratulations to Wayne Tolbert riding Windstorm Sienna (Funquest King Ofancy x Homestretch Brandie), who won high-score honors riding in the open heavyweight division at the Spanish Trial Competitive Trail Ride held on March 13-14 at the Coldwater Recreation Area in Manson, FL.

Gaye McCabe proudly accepted the high-score Morgan award at the United States Dressage Federation and Oregon Dressage Society’s Adult Team Competition held April 4-5 at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem, OR. Gaye’s Morgan Ensbrook Trivanti (Ensbrook Avanti x Triflik Reflection) competed against seven other Morgans in attendance at the show.

In more Pacific Northwest Dressage competition Morgan Starbucks Precisely Right (Blacksaddle Starbuck x RDK's Dancin Uptown), owned by Megan Jurasek, took the high-score Morgan honors at the Spring Into Dressage Show held in Sherwood, OR, with a score of 61.666% at first level. The show hosted a total of 71 horses with several Morgans in attendance.

In California, Farceur's Wake Up Call (Farceurs Falcon Morgan x Sky Ridge Kitty Wake), owned by Megan Evans, rose to the top scoring two Morgan awards in the Sacramento Horse Association’s Fuzzy Furry Western and English Show Series held on March 15 and 22 in Sacramento, CA.

Foxbrush Lief Erickson (Funquest Erick x Timberloft Mary Mead), owned by Jon and Francine Arrington, won the Morgan high-score award at the Florida Carriage and Horse Show held at the Florida Carriage Museum and Resort in Weirsdale, FL, on February 20-23.
