The industry’s premiere auction for hunter ponies will be accepting bids online and live for the first time in 2009. Pre-approved bidders will be able to place their bids from their computer, anywhere in the world. The Sale and the Preview of Ponies will be webcast for free viewing.

Potential buyers must be approved to bid online prior to the sale. Information for approval will be available on www.professionalauction.com in late June.

The 2009 American Hunter Pony Classic will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2009, at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. A preview of ponies begins at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4.

The auction will be held during the United States Equestrian Federation Pony Finals National Championships, which is one of the biggest and most prestigious championships with a tradition that spans 41 consecutive years. This five-day competition has young riders from across the U.S. vying for the titles of five national championships—USEF Hunter Pony National Championship, USEF Green Hunter Pony National Championship, USEF Pony Medal Final and the USEF Pony Jumper National Championship (Individual and Team).
